Understand the basics

Fantasy golf is a game of skill where you act as a manager. You are given a virtual budget to select a team of real-world professional golfers before a tournament begins. As these golfers compete in the actual tournament, they earn points for your fantasy team based on their performance (for example birdies, eagles, and tournament placement).

Draft your squad

Before the first tee time of the tournament, you must lock in your lineup. Select six golfers while staying under the salary cap. Use the tips below to sharpen your picks.

Course history

Some players excel at specific venues. Past leaderboard finishes are a strong signal.

Recent form

A player on a run of top finishes is often a safer pick than someone missing cuts.

Key stats

Match the course profile: approach play, driving accuracy, or putting can swing a week.

Choose your captain

Designate one golfer as your captain. Their total points are multiplied (often 1.5x or 2x on SpinLimiter). The right captain call is often what separates a great week from an average one.

The cut line

Most tournaments cut the field after 36 holes. Golfers who miss the cut score zero for the weekend rounds. Aim to maximise how many of your six players make it to Saturday and Sunday.
